Eyesore

This weekend marks the innauguration of the Royal Ontario Museum's newest renovations - the so-called Michael Lee-Chin Crystal. Now I don't know about you, but I think that any sane-minded individual would find this piece of crap an absolute abomination of architecture. Not only is this new structure absolutely hideous, it completely defaces a perfectly nice-looking building. Sure, one may argue that architecture is a form of art and that we must not always think inside the box, for otherwise there would be no innovations. Yeah, well rap music (or hip-hop or whatever it's called today) is a form or "art" too, but that doesn't change the fact that it's total crap. So if you're going to build something hideous, don't drag a perfectly nice building into your vortext of fugly.
